Anna Münch
Project Manager
Anna joined impact as Project Manager in February 2023, coordinating the organization’s activities. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Bamberg and a M.A. in Societies, Globalization and Development from the University of Bonn. Prior to joining impact, Anna worked for the Project Management Agency of the German Aerospace Center (DLR-PT) and the International Relations Office of Isabel I University of Burgos (Spain).

Leonie Brugger
Policy & Innovation Manager
Leonie joined impact in 2025 after completing her M.Sc. in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to this, she worked on climate change and sustainability across sectors including agriculture and air conditioning and refrigeration, with experience at GIZ and UNEP FI.

Veronika Grigorieva
Working Student
Currently pursuing an international M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt, Veronika brings several years of experience in communications. She joined impact in 2025 as a working student and also holds an M.A. in Social Integration and a B.A. in Southeast Asian Studies.

Shanan G. Gibson
Dean and Professor of Management
O’Maley College of BusinessShanan G. Gibson, Ph.D., joined the O’Maley College of Business as Dean and Professor of Management in April 2020, following three years as Dean of the College of Business at Texas A&M University–Commerce. Previously, she served as Associate Dean for Student & Faculty Development at East Carolina University, where she was a faculty member for 16 years. She holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech.
Her work centers on student success and the transformative power of education, with a focus on entrepreneurship and leveraging people as a competitive advantage. Her research spans human resources and organizational development, including job analysis and technology acceptance. She has published in several academic journals and has consulted in manufacturing and insurance. She also served on the U.S. Social Security Administration’s Occupational Information Development Advisory Panel.

Philipp Goedeking
Strategic Advisor to the
aviation industryPhilipp Goedeking is a founding member and board member of impact, serving until 2024. He played a key role in developing the Milestone Concept, which aims to provide long-term investors with more focus and certainty in sustainable aviation investments.
Philipp holds a PhD in Biology and began his career at Lufthansa, then moved to the Boston Consulting Group as a Project Manager. He later joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Senior Partner and Alix Partners as a Managing Director specializing in restructuring.
For over 10 years, Philipp has been teaching Airline Strategies as an Honorary Professor at the University of Mainz, Germany.

Jihong He
CEO
International Business for HWorldJihong He serves as CEO for International Business at HWorld, bringing extensive experience in global strategy, investments, and operations. Prior to joining HWorld, she was Chief Corporate Strategy Officer and CEO of the Data Center business at CapitaLand (SGX: C31). She previously held senior leadership roles at Temasek, including Director and Managing Director at Temasek International, and served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Ascendas-Singbridge, a Temasek portfolio company.
Earlier in her career, Jihong was a Principal and member of the Asia Leadership Team at Roland Berger, and held roles in global investments and terminal operations at Fraport AG. She began her career at BASF SE in Germany. Jihong holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

Christoffer Lythcke-Elberling
Head of Analytics
Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller CenterChristoffer is an analytical leader with a strategic mindset and a strong curiosity for emerging technologies and solutions. He has specialized in the performance evaluation and optimization of sustainable energy systems, beginning with technical due diligence and research in biofuels and Power-to-X concepts (2011–2016). He then moved into commercial analytics and performance management within offshore wind operations (2016–2021), before leading the development of a green ammonia project pipeline (2021–2022). Today, he supports the maritime sector’s decarbonization by helping define strategic direction through transparent analytics and data-driven insights.

Jan Melgaard

FPG AmentumJan Melgaard has worked with financing, leasing and investing in commercial jet aircraft throughout his career. Prior to joining FPG Amentum in 2010 Jan was CEO of Nordic Aviation Capital and President/CEO of Volito Aviation (spearheaded a joint venture with Goldman Sachs).
Jan has been an active speaker at several industry events and conferences and has coauthored articles appearing in industry publications such as The Aviation Economist and Airfinance Journal. Jan is chairing the Sustainability Committee of Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI). He received his MBA from Columbia University in New York.

Andreas W. Schäfer

University College LondonAndreas Schäfer has previously worked with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the University of Cambridge.
Other advisory roles include the UK Airports Commission, the Aerospace Technology Institute, and the Industrial Strategy Challenge on Future Flight, among others. Schäfer holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Energy Systems Analysis/Energy Economics, both from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

His leadership has been shaped by a deep understanding of global financial systems and the complexities of operating across diverse regulatory and cultural environments.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Tokyo, a foundation that has supported his long-standing career in international banking and executive leadership.
