At the opening of the IMPACT Aviation Forum, Jason Burnett (Chair – Board of Trustees, @The David and Lucile Packard Foundation) argued that aviation is not a problem to eliminate, but a profound human good worth preserving and expanding. The challenge is finding ways to keep the benefits while taking responsibility for the industry’s environmental impact.

Whoever cracks that clean molecule problem at scale, genuinely, durably and economically, will have built one of the most valuable companies on this planet.
