IMPACT Forum 2026
Date: 27-28 May 2026
Venue: WTW, 51 Lime St, London
“Where Are We Really?” – A Reality Check on Aviation’s Decarbonization Levers
Hosted by impact on sustainable aviation e.V. and run in partnership with WTW, the IMPACT Forum is an invitation-only gathering of leading scientists, policymakers, investors, airlines, OEMs, fuel and CDR producers, and other senior decision-makers across the aviation value chain.
Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 edition, the 2026 IMPACT Forum continues our mission to unite the people, data, and evidence that matter most to accelerate aviation’s decarbonization.
What makes the Forum different?
- Designed for accountability – guiding future action through facts over narrative.
- Not a trade fair – but a neutral, science-based platform for open, solution-focused dialogue.
- Focused on real progress – benchmarking what is actually happening, not just being promised, and defining next steps.
Stay tuned as the IMPACT Forum delivers hard evidence, honest assessment, and clear actions to move aviation’s net-zero transition from ambition to execution.

impact Webinar “The Cost of Compliance with ReFuelEU”
Date: October 27, 2025 at 15:00 CET
Bringing together perspectives from policy, airline off-takers, consultancy, and research, this session provides a comprehensive look at the economics of SAF and the factors shaping airline appetite and investment decisions. The expert round moderated by Andrew Doyle (Cirium) features Dana Shoukroun (Invest Through Flying), Gregoire Le Comte (European Commission DG MOVE), Dorottya Durucsko (Wizz Air), and Nikhil Sachdeva (Roland Berger).
The conversation examines the perception that “SAF is too expensive,” exploring key cost elements and how this affects bankability, investability, and airline procurement. Participants discuss SAF premiums, their transparency and negotiability, and the role of market mechanisms—such as long-term offtakes, pooling, and subsidies—in reducing costs. The session also covers how EU SAF allowances can support offtakers, including eligibility, allocation, and payout, and how greater pricing transparency might improve financing and long-term contracting
